NJ Executive Order 242 has rescinded most Covid-19 restrictions relating to capacity limitations, masking, and social distancing that have impacted our church. After a meeting of our Reopening Team on Wednesday on June 2nd, it is our great joy to announce that St. Peter’s United Methodist Church will similarly rescind our Covid-19 restrictions and policies. Here are the new guidelines and expectations for St. Peter’s worship, ministries, missions, meetings, studies, fellowships, outside groups, weddings and funerals.

ALL PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT FULLY VACCINATED ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO WEAR MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCE AT LEAST SIX FEET INDOORS AND OUTDOORS.

People who ARE fully vaccinated may participate in the worship and activities of the church without masking or social distancing.

No reservations are required for worship.

A portion of the sanctuary will be reserved for people who wish continue to masking and social distancing.

All small groups, Bible studies, mission teams, and other groups may begin to meet without restriction.

Luncheons, dinners, and other large-scale community and fellowship meals require permission and are approved on a case-by-case basis.

Live Choir and Praise Band singing IS permitted in reduced numbers and increased distances. Be patient with us over the next several weeks as we begin to incorporate live singing back into our weekly worship experience.
