English Language Learning

St. Peter’s English Language Learning class welcomes all learners who wish to learn or improve their English. 

Our students come from across the world:  Mexico, South America, Vietnam, China, and numerous eastern and southern European countries. St. Peter’s has been offering this program since 2004.

Classes meet Tuesday evenings beginning in October and continuing into the spring.  Join us in St. Peter’s, Room 101. There is no advance registration.  Our teachers assist students with speaking, reading, and writing English.  We offer several levels:  beginner and intermediate.  Classes meet from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. 

Students are immersed in English vocabulary, conversation, dialogues, songs, and games. Community connections like the food bank, clothes closet, and living in Ocean City are explained.  Our focus is being fluent in English for everyday life. 

 

Our instruction is individualized as teachers work one on one or in small groups. Learners are encouraged to join at any time.
